What The Healing Is

More than anything else, the healing journey, the growth journey, is learning about yourself.
Where you’ve come from, what you’ve done, what you’ve become, what your patterns are.
And what you can become, what the possibilities of life are.

We want love, we want to be loved.
So we do the things that are expected of us.
And in this we become somebody else.
We suppress many aspects of ourselves.
And so it goes…
The expectations of others, of groups, of communities, of societies are added on, piled on.

We become strangers from ourselves.
We’re separated from our hearts, from our souls, even from our bodies.
We become frustrated, irritated, aggressive, angry…
Our lives, our relationship, our world is a testament to this.

Some of us choose to do something different.
We’d like to wake up.
We choose to do some healing.

The more I do the work I do, the deeper we go into healing, into release, into growth, the more I see that healing is coming to know yourself.
As you greet the stranger in the mirror, as he or she reveals themselves to you, you see what you’ve done, who you’ve become.
There’s anger, guilt, frustration, tears, pain aplenty.
Then you go beyond that.
Healing becomes growth.
Limitation becomes possibility.
Contraction becomes expansion.

It becomes clear that you could like yourself, even love yourself.
And you could go beyond that, you could go to a place that acknowledges the divine within you, a place that you see your connection to others, to the world, to life, all life…
You see there is more that connects us than separates us.

As you get to know yourself, you get to know that you don’t have to be who or what somebody else wants or needs you to be.

As you get to know yourself, you get to know that you don’t have to be who or what somebody else expects you to be.

As you get to know yourself, you get to know that you don’t have to sell your soul to be loved and accepted.

As you get to know yourself, you get to know that you don’t have to fall into somebody else’s comfort zone.

As you get to know yourself, you get to know that you don’t have to live within anybody else’s fears and limitations.

As you get to know yourself, you get to know that the pain will end.

As you get to know yourself, you get to know how hard some of the choices for true happiness are.

As you get to know yourself, you get to know that you can live in a world of possibilities.

As you get to know yourself, you get to know that you can create a life of beauty.

As you get to know yourself, you get to know that you can be who you are.

As you get to know yourself, you get to know how strong you are.

The journey of healing using sexual energy as a vehicle brings you to yourself, deeply.
It takes you past the past, beyond the masks and veils.
Before I began working with sexuality, I practiced kinesiology and other healing methodologies. Over the past few weeks I have integrated these highly effective therapies into my work.
This greatly expands the healing possibilities we have to offer you.
Annie has also been learning in the field of Access Consciousness so that we may be of greater service to you.
This learning has also helped take massage to new heights of pleasure, release and relaxation.

The Tears Of Org**m

I’d like to share three stories with you.
Neither of these are isolated, in fact they’re pretty common.

As part of journey exploring their sexuality a couple had an Expanded Orgasm lesson. Full of excitement they went home to practice what they’d learned. They come back in a week or so very confused. He was giving her the gift of pleasure, it was an enormous experience for her, deep waves of pleasure moving through her body. Then came the confusing part. She started crying, sobs that came from nowhere, not connected to anything. To say he was confused is an understatement. How did she go from such pleasure to tears in a moment? What had he done, especially when she couldn’t tell him what she was crying about?

The second story also involves a woman, or women, as this happens a lot.
A woman comes for a Yoni massage, or it’s an experience that’s part of a healing journey. She experiences amazing pleasure, has an incredible orgasm, and lies on the futon crying, sobbing.

The third story is about a man, or men, as, once again, this happens often. In fact, so often with men.
He comes for a massage experience, or has a pleasure experience as part of a healing journey, and lies there, sobbing, gut-wrenching, quivering, shaking sobs.

They all think something’s wrong.
When nothing could be further from the truth.

When you are held with such love.
When you are honoured.
When your body is touched from the heart.
When you are filled with tenderness.
When pleasure overflows.
When your energy is open.
When there is a moment of deep safety.
When there is a moment of connection.
You release.
You let go.

And that is a moment of such beauty, such power, such humanness, such vulnerability.

The power of sexual energy, of pleasure, of orgasm is enormous.
And we can use it in so many ways. We can consciously direct sexual energy, transform and transmute it.
And we can allow the energy to take us, to sweep us away in a wave of sheer intense human beingness.
The power of pleasure opens us to being in the moment, to authenticity of expression that sweeps aside the masks we cover our real face with.

Often we see orgasm bring tears.
These are sacred tears, honest tears.
Tears released by pleasure well from deep inside of us. They take us deep into ourselves. And as we allow them to flow they heal us, they cleanse us, they free us.

Sometimes the tears are of pain.
A body filled with pleasure, a body open and vulnerable, a body filled with emotion just let’s go.
The orgasm is intense, so intense it unlocks doors we’ve long kept closed, tightly shut to keep the pain and anguish from the past hidden away.

Sometimes the tears are of love.
A body filled with pleasure, with love, with the shimmering frequency of vitality, filled to overflowing.
The orgasm opens the energy channels, they expand, we expand, and our outpouring is the energy in motion.

Sometimes the tears are of gratitude.
A body filled with pleasure, every aspect of this being touched, caressed, honoured.
The orgasm flows through you, around you, surrounds you and your tears give thanks.

Sometimes the tears are of transcendence.
A body filled with pleasure expands, dissolves it’s connection to the world, for a moment becomes spirit, essence.
The orgasm takes you beyond and your tears are of the knowing a moment of truth.

Sometimes the tears are of release.
A body filled with pleasure, the frequency is light, lighter.
The orgasm allows you to let go of that which holds you, that which you hold.
And your tears are the tears of freedom.

In the healing space you are wrapped in possibility.
The only connection is in the moment, the only attachment is to now, to experience, to allow yourself.
In this space, your tears, wherever they come from, are tears of beauty.

Look Into The Mirror

Look into the mirror
Of who you are
Look beyond your body
Look beyond your skin
Look beyond your eyes

Look at your pain
And know you are not your pain

Look at your anger
And know you are not your anger

Look at your shame
And know you are not your shame

Look at your guilt
And know you are not your guilt

There are times you are angry, and in pain, and guilty, and ashamed.
But that’s not who you are.
They’re just parts of you.
Not all of you.

Years ago I remember reading a book by Bernie Siegel, a cancer surgeon. He was one of the first doctors in that field to see the value of a holistic approach to healing and to include many alternate practices in his work.
He wrote about how we don’t heal because the illness, the disease, the condition we have becomes our definition. And without that we don’t know who we are.
So, for dear life, and sometimes at the cost of that life, we hold onto that.

Look into the mirror
Of who you are
Look beyond your body
Look beyond your skin
Look beyond your eyes

Look at your love
And know you are your love

Look at your joy
And know you are your joy

Look at your power
And know you are your power

Look at your pleasure
And know you are your pleasure

The more of these energies we allow in our lives, the more of these energies we become.
We heal, we grow, we change, we become more of who we are.
We don’t stop being angered by things, we don’t stop experiencing the guilt, the sadness, the loneliness, the shame.
But we see these for what they are.
And the more we do this, the more we own these feelings instead of them owning us.
We take back the power we’ve given to them.

So many of us live trapped in the echoes of the past.
The lives we live play out hurts, pain, limitations and contractions from long ago.
Some of these were real, some imagined.
But the victims are those who chose to live in that past, and colour the present with the hurt we felt then.
And so many of us cannot, will not, choose not, to move away from there.
We can’t imagine what being happy will look like, what living a life of power will feel like, what being authentic, present and alive will be like.
We don’t have to know.
But if we choose that, every day that unfolds shows us more of the picture. This is a puzzle we create. And it’s full of surprises. What we think the picture on the box is, often comes out to be something else. Something so beautiful, so breathtaking, we are left speechless.

Look into the mirror
Of who you are
Look beyond your body
Look beyond your skin
Look beyond your eyes

Look at your desire
And know you are your desire

Look at your strength
And know you are your strength

Look at your change
And know you are your change

Look at your truth
And know the life you live.

On this journey of healing, growth and transformation, we use sexual energy, the life force as a force for moving from where we are to where we’d like to be.
We use the joy of pleasure, the celebration of vitality to create the life we’d like, to come closer to the beings of power and creation we are, to live happier, richer lives, to see who we are, to live in possibility.
And to live with more, oh so much more pleasure.

There is so much happening at the moment, so much that is exciting, so much to offer you.
Both Annie and I are learning and developing new healing protocols to enhance and deepen the healing and growth process. This allows us to go much deeper with you and help you release and change the things you’d like, help you create the life you’d like to live.

A Gentle Revolution

On Thursday night something amazing happened.
We sat in front of a warm fire, 8 couples to learn and experience The Caress of The Passion Flower.
One of the most important principles we teach as part of Conscious Sexual Touch is how to touch gently and slowly.
One of the reasons for this is what we call The Sexual Fire. The principle of this is that woman’s sexual cycle, to reach peak states of pleasure, is slow. Patience is the key.
If you take big logs, put petrol on and light them, they’ll burn, but not for long. There’s not a lot of substance or sustenance.
If you start slowly, light some twigs, add something a little bigger, let it burn, you’ll create a fire of amazing heat and longevity.
The slower and the gentler you begin this experience, the higher the pleasure will be.
We spoke for a while, explained the process, taught an anatomy lesson, showed everybody about all the clitoral nerves and their extensions, the G-Spot, the A-spot, other new pleasure areas I’ve recently come across.
Then I went round to everybody and showed them what gentle really means.
Now a lot of men think they’re touching gently, but they actually have no idea what it really means.
We demonstrated the first part of the massage, everybody settled down with their partners and began the experience.
The magic started.
The lighting was low, the fire burning, gentle music playing, warm hands on soft skin.
And the faces of the men there, focussed on their partner’s. An intensity that grew through the evening, deepened with each part of the massage.
They saw what touching in that way did.
How their women’s bodies responded, how the energy moved through them, waves of sensation that were visible, breathing that became audible, you could sense the energy building.
And the men, oh my, the concentration, the connection, the intensity, the touch, the pleasure, orgasm into orgasm into orgasm, expanded states, bodies filled with pleasure, the smiles, eyes so peaceful, hearts full.

So much happened that night, for everybody there.
And what’s happened afterwards has been amazing.

So many men come to me to ask how to have more sex, and how to be better lovers.
We definitely found some answers on Thurs.
Men who not only became better lovers, they became masterful.
And then the answer to having more sex. It’s actually quite simple.
When a woman is sexually fulfilled, deeply pleasured, she wants to have more sex, she is more adventurous, more erotic, braver, more open.
If more men realised this, realised just how simple it is, many more people would happier, more relationships happier.
It takes some effort on the part of men, you have to learn to do things differently, you have to learn about her body, about her yoni, about her needs.
And about yourself.
In this space we saw men, real men.

There is not a woman who would not want to experience what the 8 women there on Thurs did.
There is not a man who would not want to experience what the 8 men there on Thurs did.
To be able to give so much pleasure, to be so powerful. And the key was in the gentleness.

These men definitely got to wear Superman T-shirts on Fri.

We can talk so much about the beautiful evening, we’d like to share what some of the people who were there have to say.

A SHARING…

Most of my work is healing, and growth.
Some of it is just about pleasure.
One of the principles of Conscious Sexuality is being able to offer pleasure experiences in a safe space. This often goes beyond the space and context that we put pleasure in.
In light of this I’d like to share something of myself with you.

Years ago I came across the work of Anthony De Mello, his writing had great impact on me and influenced me deeply.
One of, to me personally, the most important pieces he wrote was about selfishness. It caused me to look at many things in my life with a deep degree of honesty.
Amongst these were why I do what I do.
I looked at a lot of aspects of this.
One of the reasons was a love of women.
All women, all of you, are beautiful. Beautiful to touch, beautiful to pleasure.

You are beautiful.
I can tell you that. Your lover can tell you that. Your friends can tell you that. All the people in your world can tell you that.
And you know that they’re telling the truth.
But you don’t always believe them. In fact, it’s rare that you do.
There is such insecurity about our beauty.
And about our acknowledging it.
And, regardless of how often we’re told, it’s not something we accept.

But you can feel it.
You can feel beautiful.
When you’re touched with love.
When you’re acknowledged.
When your body is filled with pleasure.
When you relax, when you release, when you soften, when you open.
When you allow yourself.

It’s all about energy, about frequency, about vibration.
The energy of pleasure, of bliss, of ecstasy, shines and glimmers, it sparkles and glows.
It has colours so bright, so subtle, so magnificent we can only look at them in wonder.
It has sounds, sensations, smells, feelings, emotions, warmth, heat, fire to fill us. Fill us from deep within.
A wave of something magical that begins with a hand on your skin. A hand that becomes a path of communication, a voice without words.
A hand that is connected to a heart. A heart that is connected to something more.
And through this heart, through this hand, something flows into you.
Something beautiful.
And you feel beautiful.
You feel loved.

And part of my mission is to help you feel this.
To show you what pleasure you’re able to experience, what you can feel.
Every moment in this space is a blessing for me.
The ‘selfishness’ is that the space and the experience is as much for me as for you.
We all have certain gifts and talents, one of mine is the giving of pleasure.
I’ve learned about your body, the nerve and energy pathways, the pleasure centres, the secrets that unfold as your body reveals itself, going deeper, showing more, making its pleasure possibilities known, allowing your body to talk to me, to my hands, to guide my hands where to touch, how to touch, to take you to the places where the deepest parts of you are revealed, show themselves to be caressed, filled with ecstasy.
We’re not supposed to talk about or acknowledge the things we’re really good about it.
As I learned on my Vision Quest, do your work in the world, and do it well.
I do, and I am deeply honoured to share it with every beautiful woman I can.

The Warrior Awakening

I’d like to share a moment from my week with you, a moment of beauty and power, a moment of realization, a moment of becoming. Many of the people who come and see us do so from the understanding that our sexual energy is a source of extreme power that can be used for healing and growth in every aspect of our lives.

This goes beyond purely sexual issues. Many of the people I’m working with at the moment are using this energy to clear the blockages and patterns of the past in order to make different life choices and to create lives of greater meaning, joy and fulfilment. Part of this journey for men and women is awakening the warrior within. Many of us have lost our connection to this energy, to what it means to live as a warrior, and how to manifest the power of this in our lives.

So I sat with a man on a journey. At the beginning of the journey we spoke about the importance of awakening this warrior within. Firstly, and most importantly for himself, and secondly for his relationship. He acknowledged that he had no real idea what this warrior is, who this warrior was. My reply was that it would awaken and unfold as we travelled on this journey of healing and growth. In a session this week he spoke about some of the things he had done differently, how, for the first time in so long, in fact so long that he couldn’t remember when he had done it before, he expressed himself, stating clearly what he wanted. This was in the context of giving himself a gift, and the extension, giving his partner support, in a way he’d never been ale to do before. I looked at him, I felt an amazing silence from the space, a silence that surrounds a moment of revelation, a silence that allows your soul to speak, and in this silence was the understanding that he had expressed an aspect of the warrior within. There were tears in his eyes at the acknowledgment of what he had done, and who he was becoming.

So, who is this warrior?

You step onto the path of healing and growth, the path that leaves the past behind, the path that fills you with the present, the path that leads to life fulfilment, you become a warrior of the heart, a warrior of spirit.

The warrior looks into the mirror.

The warrior looks deep into the mirror.

The warrior sees beyond the mists of illusion, and as hard as it is to look deeply into ourselves, the warriors gaze is firm, as the layers of who we’ve become fall away, more of who we truly are is revealed. In the acknowledgment of who we are, is the door of possibility to becoming the highest we are.

The warrior is in the rhythm of life, for the warrior knows when to stand firm, when to bend with the wind.

The warrior knows when there needs be silence, and when his words need ring out.

The warrior knows, yes the warrior knows, when the day for battle dawns, and when there is a day to yield.

The warrior knows that to go within, deep within, is to go into the heights of beyond, and the warrior knows that to be able to create a life, is balanced by the power to destroy.

The warrior is a state of being, a state of mind, a state of becoming, for this is the rhythm of life, the rhythm with which the warrior dances.

This is what the journey of conscious sexuality offers you

I am humbled and honoured to share this space with you.

As the understanding of Conscious Pleasure Energy expands more than ever, so we are able to share with you for the first time, the workshops in Cape Town this week, particularly the Sensual and Sacred Sexual Massage workshops on Saturday. The Pleasure We Fear

Last year at Sexpo we did a mild 50 Shades bondage demo. The women who offered to be models for this came from a wide range of backgrounds, relationships and sexual experiences.

As part of the preparation for the experience I asked all of them what scared them most about it.

They all said the same thing.

They were scared they were going to enjoy it.

As part of the healing journey with men it’s important that I share some bodywork experiences with them.

This creates a deep discomfort for them, particularly when it comes to some of the pleasure-based experiences.

There is a fear they’re going to enjoy it.

Many people are terrified of many of the pleasure experiences.

We’re scared we’re going to enjoy them.

We’re scared of our passion.

We’re scared of our vitality.

We’re scared of our pleasure.

We’re scared of the fire that rages within us.

We’re scared of going beyond what we believe.

We’re scared of revealing ourselves.

We’re scared of seeing deep into ourselves, and into others.

We’re scared of pleasure.

We’re scared of where it may take us.

We’re scared of its power.

Because we know its linked to our soul.

For generations, hundreds of years, we’ve lived with repression.

We’ve been taught that that’s the way to live.

That our power is in pushing our desires down, suppressing, repressing, hiding, darkening, judging…

And the more we do this, the more we separate from our soul.

For our soul, the soul that links us to God, The Goddess, Source, Spirit…

This soul is a soul of celebration, of joy, of creation, of happiness, of laughter, of shimmering beauty and the expression of every aspect, the manifestation in our lives of this energy.

Our world is a testimony to the mediocrity and the repression that that represents.

We see it in our lives, our relationships, our wars, our poverty, our leaders, our entertainment, lack of creativity, our art…

But this soul, this soul, this scared energy that dwells somewhere within us, around us, this soul longs for expression.

And when we allow this soul out it can turn our lives, our world upside down.

Because it brings up the question ‘Where is our love, where is our joy?’

We come face to face with this in a very real way. Not as an ethereal, quasi-spiritual shoowah question.

But in this reality we wake up in every day, this reality we are creating, co-creating.

There are many possible expressions of this joy and celebration in our lives, many ways for the soul to shine through, to show itself in our lives, to bring its vibration into the world.

We’ve chosen the path of sensuality, of sexual energy, of Conscious Pleasure.

We have to go beyond our fears for this.

We have to go beyond our judgements for this.

We have to go beyond our limitations for this.

We have to go to a place where our soul is.

And our bodies, designed in the image of, a representation of, are a doorway to the soul.

Sensuousness, Sensual Energy is a language of the soul.

I invite you to stop fearing your soul.

I invite you to stop fearing who you are.

I invite you to stop fearing pleasure.

It’s important to know this.

There’s a purpose to this pleasure.

There’s a purpose to this soul stuff.

Every time we allow an experience beyond our limitations.

Every time we push a boundary that allows us to see more, be more, feel more than the narrow vision we generally hold, every time we do this, we put something out into the world.

We put a possibility out.

We put an invitation out.

We put an actual energy out.

We change a frequency.

This makes it possible for somebody else to experience this.

Maybe not what exactly the experience we had.

But something that is pleasurable.

And pleasure has greater transformational power than anything other force.

And even if you have no belief or interest in the transformational power and possibility, just for a moment have a belief in your own soul.

And its desire to talk to you, to live in you, to live through you.

And allow yourself to live with less fear, more pleasure, more happiness, more joy, more love, more celebration…

One of the most gratifying things for me, and something I appreciate enormously, is hearing how many people enjoy these newsletters.

The Vision Quest I did earlier this year initiated a time of personal healing for me, as well as a deeper understanding and learning. This has allowed the healing work, and workshops to go to new places of power. It is so beautiful to share this with you and see how we can change the things we’d like.

Sharing with is always special for me. Sexuality is the part of life that is generally scariest and most closed for men. I was invited to give a talk to a group of men this week, which began in the way most of the men’s gathering do. Almost everybody sitting with arms folded, legs crossed, stern-faced and silent.

Almost everybody thawed and we had a really good time.

More and more men, alone or with their partners, are coming to learn, heal and grow. These are the real men, the strong ones.

I am honoured to share with you.

So many people contact us about exploring aspects of their sexuality, fantasies, expanding what they do, having more excitement in their relationships and lives.

Having a framework for this, a way to open the communication and discussion, as well as some how-to knowledge can change these experiences from being scary and negative to expansion and a deepening of your relationship.

TOUCH THIS BODY 

 Touch this body in prayer 

Touch this body in worship 

For this is sacred ground  

Approach with reverence 

As you look upon the beauty laid before you 

Rest your hand with tenderness 

And feel 

Feel your heart 

Feel your heart open 

Feel your heart open to the flow 

Feel your heart open to the flow of love 

Feel your heart open to the flow of love from a place deep within you 

A place beyond you  

In a silent moment acknowledge the holy within you 

And allow your hands to tell of this 

For in this moment of connection you see the mirror 

The sacred reflected within you, through you 

And as you touch another, they know, deep within, they know 

A place beyond mind, they know, even for a moment

The life force flows, fills, expands 

The boundaries of this body melt 

We go beyond our flesh 

We see that this physical casing is merely a portal 

Its blood, its nerves, its muscles serve to take us 

Take us deeper, higher 

And then they are no more as the wave of pleasure engulfs us, wraps us in sensation, in emotion, in a moment of being that lasts an eternity, takes us into the swirling space where the Divine dances  

Slowly we return 

Slowly we feel our breath 

Slowly we feel the weight of being 

Lighter now 

For every visit to that Sacred Temple of Pleasure leaves its shimmering within us

For this is sacred ground   

In the world of Conscious Sexuality we regard certain touch and massage experiences as being acts of worship. We use the words massage and touch simply because we have no others, but these experiences go way beyond the general understanding and experience of massage.  Going beyond even that I’d like to offer a different perspective and possibility with Conscious Sensual Touch, Conscious Pleasure Energy, Conscious Sexual Touch etc. 

We’ll use the word massage because it’s the closest we have.  Generally we see the roles of giver and receiver being quite set in this space. And generally there is way more pleasure for the person receiving the massage.  Let’s change something here. There is a way of touching that is worshipping. So the question is who is worshipping? If I’m the person giving the massage, then it’s me. 

And I can use that space, that touch as a way for it become a sacred experience, a spiritual experience, a meditation for me. 

Of course there’s enormous benefit in this for the person receiving the massage. 

And there’s so much for me.  

When I enter the space in this way, with the intention of connecting with something higher, something beyond me, of allowing it to be transcendent for me, a shift happens.  A deep shift in awareness.  An opening of a space within me, an acknowledgement of the energy coming through me. Where is this coming from? Source, Spirit, The Universe, God, The Goddess…  I come to you to pray. For that is the manifestation of the energy, the coming into being of the intention. You, your body, your being becomes the altar, the recipient of my prayer. I open myself, elevate myself, connect myself. And in so doing, I am able to offer you more. And the more I can be open, the more I can be vulnerable, the more I have to offer you. My body, my hands become a vessel for this holy energy. And as it flows through me, it touches me, heals me, calms me, relaxes me, arouses me. As it flows through me to you. This becomes a temple that we create, a space that we weave filled with love, with giving, receiving, sharing…  This brings up a beautifully different perspective on healing as well. We generally heal to receive more. Here, we heal to give more. Releasing my pain, my blockages, my resistances, my withholds for the purpose of allowing more to flow through me. And going beyond that to the knowing that the purpose of more flowing through me allows me to give more. Which allows you to receive more. And going beyond even that. It allows me, in that space, to go deeper into myself. To make my prayer, my meditation, my giving more.  And in the giving is the receiving. Not in the way we mostly see that, that it’s good to give. But there’s a sacred intention. And I have to be open to receive before I can give, truly give. Anybody can do massage, anybody can do healing. This is becoming, becoming massage, becoming touch, becoming healing, becoming conscious, becoming awake, becoming aware, becoming connected, becoming love.  And the in the giving is the receiving.    There are so many exciting things coming up. The free talks have been wonderful, we’re really looking forward to the next one. The evening at Pharaohs on Exploring Sexuality was a great success, we’re doing it again. There’s a good Sensual Massage Special Offer, and we’re coming to Cape Town. I’ve recently started using some specially shaped supports during some of the Pleasure Massage Experiences. These have really expanded the depth of sensation, taking these massages to new levels.
